We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically.
Information you provide:
- Email address: when you subscribe to The Still Point newsletter through our signup form
- Booking information: when you schedule a session, retreat, or conversation through Sofia Health, including your name, email address, and any information you provide when booking
- Email correspondence: when you contact us directly at Mary@PlenaVitaShift.com
Information collected automatically:
- Session storage: this site uses browser session storage to remember whether you have seen the newsletter popup during your current visit. This data is stored only in your browser and is not transmitted to us. It is cleared when you close your browser tab.
- Website analytics: if analytics are enabled on this site, basic usage data (page views, referral sources) may be collected by our hosting provider, Netlify. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
How we use your information
- To send you The Still Point, our weekly newsletter, if you have subscribed
- To confirm and manage your bookings
- To respond to questions or inquiries you send us directly
- To improve this website and our services
We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising targeting. We do not share your information with third parties except as described below.
Third parties we work with
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this site and its functions:
- Kit (ConvertKit): our email platform. When you subscribe to The Still Point, your email address is stored with Kit and subject to Kit's Privacy Policy.
- Sofia Health: our booking platform. When you schedule a session, retreat, or conversation, your information is processed by Sofia Health and subject to Sofia Health's Privacy Policy.
- Netlify: our website hosting provider. Netlify may collect standard web server logs. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
- MoreYou.app: our daily practice platform. MoreYou.app has its own account system, separate from this website, and its own privacy policy, available in the app.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or other behavioral advertising trackers on this site.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not use tracking cookies. We use browser session storage only to remember whether you have dismissed the newsletter popup during your current visit. This data never leaves your browser and is automatically cleared when you close the tab.
Third-party services (Sofia Health, Kit) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from The Still Point at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal information from our records
- Correct inaccurate information we hold about you

Children's privacy
This website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site contains links to external websites (Substack, YouTube, Sofia Health, Kit, Google Maps, and MoreYou.app). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
